This living room stopped me in my scrolling tracks, how gorgeous, the way the greenery and accessories pop against those deep navy walls. Relaxed and cosy elegance. It's the home of Julia Choi in Belfast; read more about her in this 2019 feature by House & Home Magazine or check out more of her beautiful home @letsby.avenue

And relax............. That bath, the view, those taps, the beautiful Areca Palm plant, sign me up! The coral bath works perfectly with the Farrow and Ball 'Duck Green' walls. This beautiful bathroom belongs to one of 3 gorgeous green turf roofed holiday homes for rent in Wales at @burrowsdolassey

I love the colour combinations used in this beautiful bedroom by Becky Fraser of @edwardian_house_interiors. The velvety textures of the headboard, cushions and blanket are so comforting. It scores 100% for adorable cat posing too!

GET IN MY HOME! Accessories to swoon for!

I love ceramics both minimal and quirky, with a growing plate wall, various wonky clay creatures on my shelves and an emerging collection of jugs & vases. I think they add such character to a home and I especially love finding pieces in small indie stores when I'm holidays. Here are just a few of ceramic artists that caught my eye recently .

Catie Miller Ceramics is based in Denver and creates amazing illustrated pieces, I would LOVE this duck plate added to my wall, alas geography has other ideas!

Lisa Wilson based in Kinsale creates beautiful colourful ceramics with a minimal contemporay style. As well as been a pleasure to drink from her colourful mugs would look gorgeous displayed on open shelving.

Chloe Dowds another Irish talent based in Wicklow, creates stunning porcelain pieces in beautiful colours. How gorgeous are those vases? Definitely on the wish list!

Finally, another wonky creature calls to me! This budgie is one of many quirky illustrated ceramics created by Liz Davies of 'Bird Can Fox'. Based in Bristol her work has been sold in stores like Anthropolgie, she does occasional 'drops' of original pieces to her Etsy store and also accepts commissions.

I hope this colourful curation of homes and accessories has brightened this winter day for you and maybe sparked an idea for your own home. Now I must go and lock my purse in a dungeon before I do any damage !!!
